仲春的午后,金色的阳光透过玻璃窗外一排挺拔葱郁的水杉枝叶,照进教室来,教室里的小演员们正在为晚间的大戏做着最后的准备。

In the afternoon of mid-spring, the golden sunshine filtered through the rows of tall and lush Metasequoia branches and leaves beside the teaching building, and shone into the classroom window, illuminating the hard sweat of the actors and the people behind the scenes.

万源城协和双语学校一年一度的元曲戏剧表演在春日的落英缤纷中拉开了帷幕。从前的我们看着一届届学长学姐们的精彩表演，曾惊羡不已，如今终于也到了我们大展身手的时候了。

The annual Drama Festival of Wanyuan Campus opened in the colorful setting of spring. Once upon a time, we watched the wonderful performances of the classes of elder students. We were envious of them. Now it is time for us to show off our skills.

一次次的排练，小演员们情感终于能够与剧中原本的角色融为一体，或忧愁，或奸诈，或正气凛然，或柔情似水……

After training, the young actors move in a skillful way, maybe sad, maybe treacherous, maybe dignified, maybe tender like water…

《窦娥冤》—8F

就是这样，经过我们的不断努力，一个女子引得六月飞雪、大旱三年，以明己冤，我们才得以见窦娥奇冤——《窦娥冤》

With our continuous efforts, we staged the big show in which a woman named Dou’e caused three years of snow and drought in June, in order to announce her grievances –“Dou’e’s grievances”

《霸王别姬》—8B

楚汉相争，刘邦用计将项羽引入埋伏，项羽听着四面楚歌，在无限的悲愤绝望下，与虞姬诀别——《霸王别姬》

In the struggle between Chu and Han Dynasty, Liu Bang tried to lead Xiang Yu into ambush. Xiang Yu listened to the songs of distress on all sides and said goodbye to Yu Ji with infinite grief and despair –“Farewell My Concubine”

《唐明皇秋夜梧桐雨》—8E

“天长地久有时尽，此恨绵绵无绝期”。马嵬坡含恨相离，更让唐玄宗和杨贵妃之间的爱情故事，沿着历史长河，凄美婉转地流传至今——《唐明皇秋夜梧桐雨》

《汉宫秋》—8D

昭君挥别故土，在秋高气爽的日子里，登程北去。她永远忘不了汉宫那些秋日白夜，梦中再续前缘……《汉宫秋》

Zhaojun waved goodbye to his native land and went north on a cool autumn day. She will never forget those days and nights in the Han Palace. –“Autumn in Palace”

《赵氏孤儿》—8C

中国的《哈姆雷特》，其本身有着浓烈的悲剧色彩。其故事的精彩和悲伤的气氛，从元代至今打动了无数人——《赵氏孤儿》

China’s Hamlet has a strong tragic hint. The splendid and sad atmosphere of the story has touched countless people from the Yuan Dynasty to the present day –“The Orphan of Chao”

当然，演员们的精彩演出也的离不开道具、灯光等后勤组成员的辛勤付出，组员也全部都是由我们八年级学生。他们虽没有走上舞台接受绚烂灯光的照耀,但他们在全戏中起到了举足轻重的作用。

It is without any doubt that the excellent performances of the actors cannot be separated from the prop and lighting group, which is composed of our eighth grade students. Although they are not illuminated by bright lights; some can only prepare props in the black behind the scenes, they play a decisive role in the whole play.

不仅是同学们的努力，家长们都给予了我们很大的支持。他们有的忙着给同学们化妆；有的忙着拍摄……在整个活动的筹备过程中，最辛苦的莫过于是老师们了，他们在百忙之中抽出时间，一遍遍地指导我们这些“新手”，让每一位同学收获满满。

The support of our parents weighs no less than the efforts made by our students. Some of the parents were busy with backstage make-up; others were busy shooting… Credits should be given to the teachers, who spared time in their busy schedule to train our “novices” over and over again.

当然，一次成功的演出离不开学校的支持，当然这一切都与平时丰富并多元化的课程分不开关系，“学习不仅仅是在课堂，也是在生活的每一个角落”，这次活动让我们深刻的体会到这句话。

Certainly, we should attribute the success to our school as well ， all these are closely related to the rich and diversified courses of Wanyuan. “Learning is not only in the classroom, but also in every corner of life.” This activity allows us deeply understand this sentence.

最后，献上一位资深的学生家长在观看了演出后发出的由衷感慨。相信台上台下很多人至今都沉醉在当晚的欢乐和享受之中。

Finally, let’s read a senior student’s parents (Father Chu)’s heartfelt feelings after watching the performance. It is believed that many people on and off the stage that night have been indulged in the joy and enjoyment of the evening.

在这次戏剧节上，每个人都能感受到戏剧的魅力，感受到中国上下五千年丰富多彩的文化瑰宝。可以说，我们不单单是完成了戏剧表演，更是在语文学习和人格塑造方面得到了升华。

At this drama festival, everyone can feel the charm of drama and the rich and colorful cultural treasures of China for 5000 years. It can be said that we have not only completed the theatrical performance, but also sublimated in language learning and personality shaping.

看历史浮沉，繁华与衰败交替，歌今日情怀，砥砺与前行相随。“溯洄从之，道阻且长”将中西方文化相遇碰撞相融，是我们协和学子的孜孜不倦的追求。时光不息，脚步不止。感受文学魅力，追忆历史长情。

Look at the ups and downs of history; feel the alternation of prosperity and decay; sing out today’s feelings, temper and go forward with each other. It is the tireless pursuit of our SUIS students to blend Chinese and Western cultures into each other. Time goes on and on and we feel the charm of literature and recall the long history!
