Mission

We are committed to providing high-quality multi-cultural and holistic international education – through the lenses of the Xiehe Pioneer and US High School / AP curricula – that integrates the best elements of both East and West. At SUIS we provide students with developmental pathways that prepare them to become future global citizens of tomorrow’s world and gain acceptance to the America’s top colleges and universities.

Motto

Our school mantra is “e pluribus unum,” a Latin term which means “out of many, one.” It was the original motto of theUnited States of America. It suggested at America’s founding that a country of separate colonies of Great Britain would now become one united nation.

Our school is divided into three sections: The Primary School, The Middle School, and the US High School. Our students and staff come from different parts of the world. Yet together, we are one “East meets West” school, one community, “e pluribus unum.”
