5月24日这个初夏日子，协和万源美式高中80名毕业生承载着师长、家人的期望迎来高中毕业典礼，走上舞台，行拨穗礼，接受沉甸甸的毕业证书！回想四年前，初入协和万源美高的时候，大家青涩的模样仿佛历历在目；而今天，毕业生们身着庄重的毕业袍，成熟又自信！
On May 24th, eighty graduates from SUIS US High School walked onto the stage and received diplomas. Recall that four years ago, the same students were shy, now they are confident and mature.
截至毕业典礼当天，2018届美式高中毕业生共计收到来自美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、中国香港等世界各地286份录取信函，奖学金数量高达125万美金！
As of May 24, 2018, eighty graduates from class of 2018 have received a total of 286 letters of admission from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong China and the number of scholarships reached $125 million US dollars.

本届毕业生中有72位同学（约占毕业总人数88%）选择前往美国。今年我们突破性地斩获了综合排名第14，与藤校齐名的范德堡大学的录取通知书及两所份量很重的藤校候补名单（达特茅斯学院和康奈尔大学），这相对于去年而言是一大跨度的进步。一流名校录取方面，不仅收获了年年青睐我们学生的加州大学洛杉矶分校、南加州大学、纽约大学、罗切斯特大学、加州大学圣塔芭芭拉分校、波士顿大学等顶尖名校抛来的橄榄枝，与此同时我们今年录取名校的范围也在往纵深不断扩展，分别有同学首次录取了名校如凯斯西储大学（综合排名37）、佩珀代因大学（综合排名46）、维拉诺瓦大学（综合排名46）等，再次更新了万源高中的录取学校记录。更值得一提的是各大名校都加大了对我校美式高中学生的录取率，如纽约大学本季就录取了我们4名同学（较去年有4倍的提高），加州大学圣塔芭芭拉分校则一口气录取了我们8名学生（较去年有8倍的提高），更有甚者加州大学戴维斯分校向我们12位同学发放录取信……且这些顶尖名校为了吸引我们优秀学生，纷纷向他们发来包括奖学金及各大院校总统学者荣誉计划等优厚的录取条件。
72 students from this year’s graduates (about 88% of the total number of graduates) chose to go to the United States to pursue their higher education. This year, we have made a breakthrough in term of admission to highly ranked universities, one of our students was accepted to Vanderbilt University, which tied with Ivy League schools such as Brown University, and ranked #14 among all the National Universities in the USA according to 2018 US News & World Report. This is a big span of progress compared to last year. Our students not only harvested olive branches thrown by leading universities like UCLA, University of Southern California, New York University, University of Rochester, University of California-Santa Barbara, and Boston University etc.. At the same time, the scope of admission to elite schools this year is also expanding in depth, for the first time, our students admitted to famous universities such as Case Western Reserve University (Nationally ranked 37), Pepperdine University (Nationally ranked 46), Villanova University (Nationally ranked 46) etc.. What is worth mentioning is that all the prestigious universities have increased the admission rate of our high school students. For example, New York University admitted four of our students in this college application season (4 times more than last year), and the University of California-Santa Barbara accepted 8 of our students to their class of 2022. What’s more, the University of California-Davis sent a letter of admission to 12 of our students. In order to attract our outstanding students, these elite schools have provided our graduates with scholarships and presidential honors programs.

Our Wanyuan US High School students are not only favored by US National universities, but also by the Liberal Arts and Sciences Colleges. LACs are more focus on undergraduate programs, and pay attention to the whole person & liberal arts education. This year we have achieved great success in the admissions to top ranked American Liberal Arts Colleges. One of our students got in one of the most highly selective “Little Ivy” school – Hamilton College, their international student rate is only 4.8%. Our graduates also got accepted to one of the 25 new Ivy League Schools – Macalester College (ranked 26) and Skidmore College (ranked 41). And one of our smart, strong young ladies has decided to Bryn Mawr College to seek an unparalleled education and meaningful opportunities. We also have students entering Bucknell University for its nationally famous, ranked #7, undergraduate Engineering program and much more. For the first time, we have students received offer letter from Denison University (ranked 46), Gettsbury College (ranked 46), Bard College (ranked 46). In the meantime, we continued to consolidate our relationship with our old friends – Union College (ranked 36), Franklin & Marshall College (ranked 39), Trinity College (ranked 44) and Depauw University by sending best fit students to those schools.

So far, our students, who chose UK higher education, have received offers from Imperial College London, Durham University (5 year bachelor master program), Loughborough University, University of Edinburgh (double major in Music and Physics) and University of Manchester. Worth to mention, this year we are pleased to announce that one of our graduates was invited to Oxford University admission interview in UK.

We only have two students decided to attend universities in Canada. They have been admitted to the top research universities like the University of British Columbia and University of Alberta. Queen’s University and University of Ottawa also attracted by our students merits and already sent offers to them.
