The cultivation of students’ artistic literacy at SUIS Wanyuan is relfected through its support for various art and music clubs and activities. Art and music play a vital role in fostering creativity and imagination, enhancing emotional expression, strengthening social and teamwork skills, and improving aesthetic literacy. For primary and middle school, the school introduced master studios led by renowned artists to inspire student’s interests in Fine Arts, Ballet, Peking Opera, and Erhu. Additionally, the school’s orchestra and cheerleading team, which achieved national-level awards within just a few years of formation, demonstrate the school’s commitment to nurturing student’s artistic talents. In high school, students’ personal artistic talents are showcased in their daily campus life. From drama performances, talent shows, and winter concerts to high school art exhibitions, students’ passion and dedication to art not only elevate their individual artistic literacy but also inspire many to pursue further studies at top overseas art universities.
