本月28日，万源城协和双语中学部在学校大厅展出了学生的DT课程作品。万源初中的DT课程是在STEAM理念下开展的一门理科综合课程，由中外教师共同研究开发，通过学生实际动手和理论思考，并以团队合作来完成设计制作任务，实现对多学科知识的融合，培养学生多方面能力，课程开设以来深受同学们喜爱。
On 28th May, the secondary department of SUIS Wanyuan held an exhibition, showing students’ crafts they did in The DT class. The DT class is a course designed and developed under the concept of STEAM, which is an integrated program that involves science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. The DT course is developed by a team of both experienced foreign and domestic teachers. The course is designed to guide students to complete a task using both the scientific theories as well as the practical skills they learned throughout the entire course. Students will be working in teams to finish the task and each task requires integrating the knowledge across various subjects. The DT course is designed to effectively develop students’ all-around skills and is very well received among students.
本次共展出了九大类学生作品，包括：
展示作品一：工程设计（鸟屋）（主要培养学生数学运算和各种工具的使用）
展示作品二：机械原理（投石机的设计与制作）
展示作品三：科学探究（风力发电机的探究与制作）
展示作品四：基本电路（LED台灯的设计与制作）
展示作品五：航天器的设计与教学（水火箭）
展示作品六：机器人模块教学
展示作品七：电子工程模块（触摸灯制作与包装）
展示作品八：3D设计与打印模块
展示作品九：头脑风暴项目
引起了广大师生和家长热情关注。

我们从学生们在头脑风暴课程中自行设计和创作的作品中选出了五组学生作品参加了5月23日的第四届协和双语跨校区科学展，参展的作品，均获得了评委们的一致好评。
5 students’ works from the course of Brain Storm were chosen for the SUIS school-wide exhibition. All of these exhibits are highly credited among the judges.
我们DT课程的丰富多彩还受到区领导高度关注，多次组织相关老师参观学习。
The DT course is also drawing attention from respected government officials of Minhang district. Teachers from other schools were quite often advised to come visit and observe the classes to get valuable experience.
DT课程给了孩子们展示自己、成就自己的机会。让孩子们像科学家和工程师们那样根据项目主题设计方案、进行技能的实践，培养了团队合作能力。孩子们在项目中获得自信，真正的实现快乐学习。
DT Course provides students with the opportunity to express their creative ideas and realize their dreams. Students will be working together as scientists and engineers to design and finish a project throughout the course, which develops their team-work abilities and other practical skills. The students will gain confidence throughout the entire course.
