沐浴着和煦的阳光，沉浸在温暖的春风里，上个星期五，万源运动会如火如荼地开展起来了。
With the nice sunshine, soft breeze, and beautiful music, our Wanyuan Spring Sports Day was held in the playground on the 20th of April.
一年一度的万源运动会，是同学们尽情释放活力，展现蓬勃朝气的大好机会。只见美丽而宽广的操场上，在体育老师的带领下，各个班级的同学无比踊跃而又井然有序地进行着一项又一项激烈的比赛项目。
Such a wonderful Sports Day will be organized once a year. Our boys and girls took part in many interesting activities with the careful guidance of our P.E. teachers.
只见旁边的五号场地上，四年级的同学们正在体育老师和班主任的指挥下，热火朝天地开展着 “限时投篮” 比赛。四年级的同学互不相让。那边的选手高抬双手，轻轻将篮球托起，双腿微微下曲，然后快速起身投篮，整个过程恰似行云流水般流畅自然。随着篮筐 “嘭” 的一声响，球进了！比分又领先了! “加油！加油！” 选手所在班的拉拉队员们在场边卖力地呐喊助威，唯恐对方选手追上了比分。这边的参赛选手也丝毫不甘落后，他们有条不紊地曲腿、投篮。两班的比分你追我赶，这边刚追平，那边又马上追加一分。
Look! G4 students were playing shooting games in the basketball court. Students in 4A and 4B tuckered themselves out by shooting every ball and had a fierce competition with each other. Their cheering squads were cute and lively. They tried to cheer for all of their classmates.
不远处的三号场地上，五年级的同学们正紧张地进行着 “50米跑” 的激烈角逐。只见五年级的短跑健将们神色严峻，个个如临大敌。随着裁判一声令下，各位选手马上像脱缰之野马，又如离弦之羽箭一般，飞快地向目标冲刺，俨然个个足下生风，似腾云驾雾一般。
On court No.3, G5 students were racing. When the judge gave the orders, students ran at full speed just like the wind.
举目远眺，操场东南角的一号场地上人声鼎沸，原来是三年级的同学们正热火朝天地进行着 “四人五足” 这一比赛项目。“四人五足” 是一项对团队合作要求非常高的比赛项目，团队中任何一人的脚下稍有不慎，便会马上把整个团队的速度拉下来，甚至会导致整个团队摔得人仰马翻。三年级的同学们似乎对这一项目胸有成竹，参赛团队中有的齐声喊着 “左－右－左”，有的口号一致地喊着 “一－二－一”，还有的整齐划一地喊着 “one－two－one”。随着此起彼伏的节拍，各个参赛团队飞快地冲向胜利的终点。
Looking far into the distance G3 students were playing “Five-feet-four”. Four students got in a group. They tie their feet together and rush to the final line.
在三个场地之间的二号和四号比赛场地上，还有一、二年级的同学们正兴致勃勃地进行着 “仰卧起坐” 和 “蹲踞式跳远” 这两个比赛项目。同学们在一伏一仰之间，尽情享受着孩童的快乐。
We also can see G1 and G2 students in the court 2 and 4. They were having sit-up and long jump competition. They were really excited about it.
本届万源运动会圆满结束了。很多班级捧回了用勤劳和汗水换来的奖杯。这些奖杯既是同学们团队合作取得的成果，又是同学们成长的见证。相信在师生的一致努力下，明年的万源运动会肯定更加精彩！
At last, our Sports Day had a full ending. Students achieved a lot and learnt a lot from activities. Some of them got the shining prizes by cooperating with group members and doing their best. We are looking forward to the Sports Day next year.
